The Pierre Governor track and field team will wrap up the regular season today with one final invite in Huron as the Govs still look to qualify members to the state competition next week Thursday.
The Governors had a successful ESD meet with a couple of wins along with a school and meet record as Cactus Korkow would win the discus throw, Caleb Morris setting a new school record in the 1600 meters and Charlee Williams-Smith got a couple of wins including setting a new meet record in the 400 meters. Now, Pierre heads into Huron with a total of seven teams which includes Aberdeen Central, Brookings, Mitchell and Watertown from Class AA.
