The Stanley County Buffalo track and field team would compete in Kimball on Thursday and the team would grab two wins to close out its busy week.
Jaxton Hoftiezer would win the discus throw for the Buffaloes on the boys side while Brianna Sargent, Brylee Larson, Austyn Norman and Addy Deal would win the girls 4×200 relay race. The foursome also was second in the 4×100 while Sargent, Norman, Deal and Lillian Luce were second in the 4×400. Larson would get fourth in the 200 meters and Tessa Peterson getting fourth in the 300 meter hurdles while Carlee Brady was fifth in the javelin. For the Buffalo boys, Jack Deal, Landon Bame, Paxton Deal and Brendon Bothwell would get second in the 4×100 and then Bothwell, Eddie Duffy, Paxton Deal and Ryland Magee second in the 4×400. Trevor Caldwell would get second in the shot put and Jace Hand second in the javelin. Paxton Deal was third in the long jump and Eddie Duffy fourth in the triple jump. Ryder Roseland was fourth in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles while Magee was fourth in the 400 meters and Bame fifth in the 200 meters.
