The Pierre Governor golf team will be in Mitchell today for its lone event of the week as the season continues to wind down with just a few invites remaining.
The Governors last competed last Thursday in Huron and had a chance to get more practice in with warm weather this week. The Governors have just three remaining invites before the ESD in less than two weeks. Pierre will be in Watertown and Brookings next week with Watertown being the site of the Class AA golf state tournament. As Pierre continues to have a full team in the second half of the season, the Govs have a couple of more chances to compete as a full team before the ESD.
Tee time from Lake View Golf Course in Mitchell is at 10:30.
