The Pierre Governor Track and Field team would travel to Aberdeen on Friday and the Govs would come away with 12 total wins on the day as the Govs are down to the final three weeks of the season.
For the Governor boys, Carter Schiefelbein would win the 400 meters while Caleb Morris would win the 800 meters. Lincoln Dilges picked up the 110 meter hurdles while Corde Austin had two wins with the high jump and long jump. The team of George Rapp, Morris, Jagger Gardner and Hayden Northrup would win the 4×400 relay.
The Governor girls would get two wins individually from Charlee Williams-Smith in the 100 and 800 meters while Gwen Richter in the 1600 meter as Richter was a part of three wins with Emery Larson, Ally Bauer and Devyn Van Roekel in the 4×400, Larson, Van Roekel and Harper Shaffer in the 4×800. Peyton Dillman would round out the 12 wins in the triple jump. Pierre had 75 top ten finishes on Friday.
