The Lyman Raiders will host 20 teams today at the Cecil Johnson Invitational with a total of five local teams competing.
The Raiders will be able to entertain the Douglas Patriots coming from Class AA while Stanley County and Miller will have three other Class A schools competing and the other 15 teams coming from Class B. Highmore-Harrold and Jones County will join Lyman from Class B for the event. For most of these teams, they will travel out to Sioux Falls for the weekend competing at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays, the biggest regular season events of the season. Today can be big momentum going into the weekend’s competitions.
The field events begin at 11:00 AM with the track events starting at 11:30 at the Lyman Football and Track Complex in Presho.
