The Pierre Governor softball team will be at home today to face the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles for the second time this season and the first time at home.
The Govs used a big seventh inning on Friday over Spearfish to win 15-7 and move to 3-2 on the season as Pierre will look for a second win over the Golden Eagles today to start a busy week. Aberdeen Central’s only wins so far this season was a doubleheader sweep of Groton Area at the beginning of April. Pierre opens the week today before traveling to Rapid City on Thursday to face the Stevens Raiders in a make up game on from last Saturday. Pierre will then be in Sioux Falls to play at least one game against O’Gorman Saturday afternoon.
First pitch today is at 4:00 at the Riggs Softball Field in Pierre.
