Pierre’s Sittie Kassan had a fourth place finish overall moving up six spots on day two as the Pierre Governor golf team wrapped up two days of competition in Rapid City.
Kassan would shoot five shots better at a 91 on Tuesday to be overall a 187, 22 shots behind first place as Liliana Van Der Wyst would lead after day one and hold on to a three stroke victory in day two. Kassan was 43 over par for the entire tournament. Drew Rechtenbaugh was also top ten at ninth for the Governors. Rechtenbaugh shot a 201 in total, just one shot back of eighth and 14 shots back of a top five finish. Hadley Hart did not participate in the second day as Hart was at an 86, four shots of the lead after the first day.
Pierre will be at home next Tuesday at Hillsview Golf Course. It’s the lone home event of the season.
