The Sully Buttes Chargers would have a gorgeous day to host its home invite of the season on Tuesday as the Chargers hosted over 20 teams in Onida and would pick up an individual win.
Sully Buttes
Kaydn Westergren would get the lone win for the Chargers on the day as he would grab the win in the shot put. Jett Yackley would get second in the javelin while setting a new school record on the throw. Easton Moore was also second in the discus throw.
Pierre
The Pierre Governors would send plenty of athletes to Onida on Tuesday for some competition as Josephine Wurtz would get the lone Governor win finishing in first in the 800 meters.
Gettysburg
The Gettysburg Battlers would get a second place finish from Finlee Heien, Paige and Jadyn Ahlemeier and Emma Schlachter in the 4×800 relay race. They were also third in the 4×400 while Schlachter was third in the 400 meters, Heien third in the 300 meter hurdles and Layla Cronin third in the 1600 meters.
Highmore-Harrold
The Highmore-Harrold Pirates had a second place finish in the sprint medley relay race from Tenley McDonnell, Emma Salathe, Whitley Baloun and Autumn Fallis while Destiny McCauley was third in the discus throw.
Jones County
BreAna Aske had two wins in the 400 meters and long jump while Addison Rankin was second in the high jump for the Jones County Coyotes. Aske was also third int he 100 meters.
Lyman
The Lyman Raiders had three wins as Brooke Montgomery would win both the 100 and 200 meter runs while placing second in the long jump and Chloe Collins was second in the 100 meter hurdles. Dawsen Volmer wont he high jump followed by teammate Cole Kieffer while Kieffer was also second in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles. Conor Samco was second in the 400 meters.
Miller
The Miller Rustlers were the only Class A team to participate in Onida on Tuesday as Isaak Hunter had two wins in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles while Gracen Werdel was second in the 400 meters and then also getting second in the 4×200 with Jordyn Pugh and Hailey and Paige Werdel.
