The Pierre Governor golf team is in Rapid City for a two day event and after the first day, Pierre’s Hadley Hart is in third place, just four shots back of the lead.
The Governors have just three girls participating in the two day invite hosted by Rapid City Central and Stevens. Hart would shot a 14 over par, 86 at Elk Golf Course on Monday to be three shots back of second place and four shots back of Liliana Van Der Wyst of Stevens who is 10 over par, 82. Sittie Kassan is also top ten, in tenth place at 24 over par, 96 while Drew Rechtenbaugh is two shots behind her in 13th at 26 over par, 98. 26 total golfers are playing so the three Governor girls are all inside the top half after the first day. Only three teams are being scored for the team score with Stevens having a six shot lead over St. Thomas More. To qualify for the team score, you must have at least four golfers.
