The O’Gorman Lady Knights built a 39 point lead by halftime over the Pierre Governors in Pierre Friday night on the way to an 81-25 win over the Governors.
A running clock would take over the entire second half as O’Gorman had its way with Pierre in the first half and was able to roll past the Govs to improve to 10-1 on the season winning its tenth straight game as Pierre falls to 3-8 on the year. O’Gorman led 39-10 at the end of the first half as Ruby More had 27 points to lead the Lady Knights having the game high while Sydney Terveen having 13 and Sadie Mehrmann had 10. The Governors were led by Molly Olson and Emery Larson each had eight and Zoey Bauer finished with six as the Govs drop its third straight and seventh of the last eight.
Pierre will be back on the road on Tuesday to take on the Yankton Gazelles for a long road trip. Tip off is set for 7:00 at Yankton High School.
