The Sully Buttes Chargers will be on the road for the final time in the regular season tonight as the Chargers face the Herreid/Selby Area Wolverines in a highly anticipated matchup.
While every game is important, the Faulkton game and the Herreid/Selby game can be considered the two biggest games on the Charger schedule based on records and where they sit in the standings. Sully Buttes beat the Trojans on the road 30-22 on September 26 and tonight will look to beat another top tier team on the road as the Wolverines come in at 5-2 and ranked seventh in the standings. Both teams have beaten Faith 50-0, both teams have knocked off Gettysburg and Northwestern, but The Wolverines have a loss to Faulkton on September 5 24-6 with the Chargers getting the win as Sully Buttes is 4-0 against common opponents while Herreid/Selby is 3-1. This is also the last game of the regular season for the Wolverines with its bye week next week. Moore says on film the Wolverines do a lot of good things well and are a young football team…
