FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. Council members will hear reports from city officials before moving on to the main agenda. The Council will discuss a tree removal and replacement plan and consider 2023 communication site leases. Council members will consider approval of an agreement with the Department of the Army for a comprehensive water resource plan and an agreement with the Central South Dakota Enhancement District for administrative assistance for the city’s water storage project. Public hearing dates will be set for two retail on/off sale wine and cider licenses and for a temporary liquor license request. The Council will also consider approval of license renewals for malt beverage and farm wine license holders. Council members will consider taking action on three personnel items.
