PIERRE — The Agri-Interest Committee of the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce has selected Levi and Crystal Neuharth and family as the 2021 Farmer/Rancher of the year. The Neuharth’s have been recognized for having a passionate involvement in conservation efforts and ag education. Their Prairie Paradise Farms have used No-Till practices since 1993 while raising a variety of crops and animals. The Neuharth’s also created Family Farm Visit Day, held on their farm on the first Saturday of May. Family Farm Visit Day welcomes anyone interested in learning about farm life and experiencing hands-on farm functions.
