PIERRE — Pierre firefighters were dispatched Monday night to the Super China Buffet on Sioux Avenue for a fire call. Smoke could be seen rising from what appeared to be a roof vent on top of the building. No fire was visible from the exterior of the building. Two firefighters approached over the building on a ladder truck while three more climbed a ladder to the roof on the west side of the building. Fire crews were on scene about an hour and building was turned back over to management around eight PM. Crews were on scene for about an hour. More details on the incident are expected Tuesday.
