PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight for an extensive 20 item agenda at the District Administrative building. Board members will hear comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt and will recognize the District Teacher of the year, one act play performers and the state wrestling champions from Pierre. Board comments and comments from the public will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Senate. Action items include first reading of a science curriculum recommendation and first reading to Food Service job descriptions. The Board will consider approval of a bid for mechanical improvements at Riggs High School and will take action on a consolidated Board of Equalization. Other agenda items include consideration of donations, resignations, contract items and open enrollments. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
