February Enplanements Up Nearly 100 Passengers From January

Enplanements were up 98 passengers from January when 469 people used the Pierre Regional Airport. Last year, February was the best month of 2020 with 1345 enplanements or a difference of 778 fewer passengers that this February. Pierre is averaging just over 500 passengers per month. If that average doesn’t increase Pierre Regional could see just over 6200 passengers in 2021. Enplanements are expected to increase as pandemic restrictions loosen and move people become vaccinated against Covid-19.
