The Stanley County Buffaloes wasted little time against the Miller Rustlers on Monday night as the Buffs used a continuous clock beating Miller 68-42.
The Buffaloes jumped out to a double digit lead before the Rustlers were able to score its first points of the night as Miller didn’t get on the board until 2:30 left in the first quarter and trailed 20-6 after the first. The Buffs continued to roll in the second quarter as they led 41-16 at half time and opened up a 30 point lead in the third quarter to start the running clock and used a quick second half to defeat the Rustlers and improve to two games over .500 at 10-8 on the year.
Three players scored in double figures for the Buffs as Nathan Cook led the team and game with 21 on the night while Lathan Prince added 16 and Cormac Duffy chipped in 10 points Spencer Fernholz dealt with foul trouble in the first half but scored 14 of his 15 in the second half.

The Buffaloes were able to unload the bench in the game and Foth was happy they were able to make it happen…

The Buffaloes will finish the season on the road on Thursday as they face North Central. Tip-off will be around 7:30 from Bowdle.
