The Sully Buttes Chargers boys and girls basketball teams will be in Faulkton on Thursday as they play the final doubleheader of the season against the Trojans.
The Chargers and Trojans girls teams will be playing its final game of the season but as they sit, both teams will be back in Faulkton again next week for the first round of the Region 2B Tournament as they are the fourth and fifth ranked teams in the region.
The Charger boys are right now currently sitting in fourth place in the Region 2B standing which would mean they would host a first round tournament matchup. However, the Chargers still have three games left in the season and they face a Faulkton Area team on Thursday that ended its five game losing streak beating Miller on Tuesday. The Chargers are looking for back to back wins for the first time since January 7 and 9.
DT Meyer, the voice of the Sully Buttes Chargers, will be in Faulkton tonight as he’ll have the call of the final doubleheader of the season. Games will begin at 6:30 on Country 95.3 and pierrecountry.com.
