PIERRE — Dakota Wesleyan University of Mitchell is announcing a new partnership with Pierre’s Capital City Campus. The Learn and Earn program will work with business and industry in the Pierre region to bring full college-level programs to Pierre. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to fill professional roles in Pierre and central South Dakota while earning professional certifications at the same time. The Program will bring classroom time and online education together with professional work experience. A year-long, part-time paid internship is included in the program. Open houses will be held from five to seven PM on February 22nd and March 15th and 19th and April 12th so students and parents can learn more about the program which officially begins in August of 2021.
