The Stanley County Buffaloes played what might be their SoDak 16 qualifier opponent in Mobridge-Pollock on Tuesday at home but the Tigers picked up the close win 52-48.
The Buffs drop back to .500 on the season at 8-8 with just three games remaining on the season. The Buffs will travel to Langford Area on Friday before hosting Miller on Monday and heading to Bowdle to face North Central Co-op next Thursday.
The Tigers won its third straight edging out the Buffs and improve to 13-3 on the season with just three games remaining as they travel to Winner on Friday before returning home on Monday to host Lower Brule and then traveling out to Belle Fourche next Friday. The two teams look to be on the collision course to meet in the SoDak 16 qualifying game in a couple of weeks.
The Buffs will play Langford Area on Friday with a tip time of 7:30.
