Johnson Signs Letter of Intent to Wrestle at DWU

Saturday afternoon, Pierre Governor wrestler, Tyson Johnson, signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career at Dakota Wesleyan next year.

Johnson is a multisport athlete for the Governors as he was part of the Pierre soccer team and is one of the top ranked wrestlers in the state in his weight class heading into the state tournament in two weeks.

According to trackwrestling, Johnson’s record is currently 31-7 at the 145 although he wrestled in the 152 this past weekend. Johnson says he’s excited for the next step…

Johnson and the Governors will wrestle at the ESD this weekend with the state tournament beginning on Thursday, February 25.
