The Sully Buttes Charger girls basketball team will be in Warner Saturday afternoon as they face the Wilmot Wolves in the girls Warner Classic.
The Chargers fell the last time out to the top team in Region 2B Herreid/Selby Area as they have just three games left on the season, all away from Onida. The Chargers are still in fifth place in the 2B standings and would be in Faulkton in the first round of the tournament to face the Trojans if things don’t change by the end of the season.
Wilmot is at 6-11 on the year and in sixth in the 1B standings. The Wolves fell to Waubay/Summit last time out by 15 but had won the last three game previously to the loss.
