For the first time this season and for the first time in recent history the Pierre Governors will play a Class A school as they host the Winner Warriors in a boys and girls doubleheader.
The Governor boys are coming in off a win against Huron on Tuesday winning by 12 as they are 6-9 on the season but still sit in 12th place in the AA standings. The Warriors lost last time out at the buzzer to White River but are still 14-2 and had won 12 straight prior to the loss,
The Governor girls have dropped its last three games and are 6-8 on the year but come in at ninth in the AA standings. The Warrior girls are also 14-2 on the season and in first place in the Region 6A standings.
