As the season continues to wind down, wins become more and more important as the Sully Buttes Chargers host the Herreid/Selby Area Wolverines in a doubleheader at home in Onida on Tuesday.
The Charger girls are nearing the end of the regular season as they will end a week prior to the boys team so with just two weeks left the Chargers look for four solid wins to end the season. Sully Buttes sit in fifth place in the Region 2B standings at 8-8 but are facing the 14-2 the Wolverines tonight.
The Charger boys are also in fifth place in the Region 2B standings as they face the third seeded Wolverines at 8-6. After falling to the Battlers on Friday, the Chargers have traded wins and losses in its last 10 games as the sit at 7-9 with just four games left to play.
