The Stanley County Buffaloes are up against a tough Region 6A opponent on Thursday as they get to host the Chamberlain Cubs, the top team in the region.
The Cubs are coming having won nine in a row and are 12-1 overall on the season. The Cubs have the last two wins against Mobridge-Pollack and Platte-Geddes, both are 10-3 on the year. In the nine game winning streak, the Cubs have won beaten four teams with 10 plus wins on the year.
The Buffaloes had its latest game postponed as they look to potentially make up the Lakota Tech matchup later in the season. The Buffs are still at 7-4 on the season as they look to build off the three game winning streak especially after the overtime win against Lower Brule last Saturday. The Buffs are 2-2 at home so far this season.
It’s a standalone boys game tonight as the Buffs and Cubs have tip-off scheduled around 7:30.
