Stanley County Commission To Meet Tonight

FORT PIERRE — The Stanley County Commission is holding its second meeting of 2021 tonight. Commissioners will consider approval of the agenda, minutes from the January 5th meeting, claims and will hear the Treasurer’s and Auditor’s reports before moving on to regular business. Director of Equalization Roger Fuller with discus a resolution for a conditional use permit for a cell phone tower in the county and Gary Grittner will present the 2020 Coroner’s report. Fairgrounds Manager Scott Deal with meet with Commissioners regarding a ticket booth and fencing at the Stanley County Fairgrounds and Highway Superintendent Lee Smith will also meet with the Commission. Commissioners will consider three automatic supplements, a letter from T-C Energy regarding the Keystone Pipeline, a memorandum of understanding for 2021 with South Dakota State University Extension and a contract for the new County Health Nurse. Consideration of computers for the Auditor’s office and courthouse drainage and downspouts are also on the agenda. An executive session is scheduled for personnel. The Stanley County Commission meets tonight at five P.M.
