The Pierre Governor cheer and dance team would compete for the final time in the regular season with the dance team placing fifth at the ESD and the cheer team in tenth.
The Governor dance team finished with a score of 229 overall and were within three and a half points of placing fourth behind Aberdeen Central. Pierre would score a fourth place finish in the pom and hip-hop division though. The Govs scored a 228.5 in hip-hop and 229.5 in pom. Brandon Valley would win the ESD at their home invite with a score of 270.75.
On the cheer side, the Governors would score a 183.5 which is tenth at the ESD, but were within 15 points of jumping up to seventh. Harrisburg is the grand champ cheer for the ESD with a score of 290 overall, 19 points better than Brookings.
