The Miller Rustlers will be at home once again tonight as the top seed in Region 6B will take on the fifth seeded Herreid/Selby Area in the SoDak 16 qualifying game.
With this being the first season back in the Class B for the Rustlers, the two teams haven’t played often over this decade. The last time these two teams met was back in 2021. Miller comes in at 20-9 on the season while Herreid/Selby has a losing record at 14-19, but did sweep the Ipswich Tigers on Tuesday on the road as the five seed already has one upset in the playoffs. Hailey Werdel led the Rustlers on Tuesday in the sweep of Sunshine Bible Academy with 11 kills as the team in total had 40 kills on the night. The Rustlers, with their four seniors look to make the SoDak 16 where they sit in 11th place in all of Class B. With a win, no matter what the Rustlers will move up to the nine seed as two matches see teams inside the top 10 of the Class B standings.
First serve tonight from the Armory in Miller is scheduled for 7:00.
