The Sully Buttes Chargers volleyball team will be wrapping up the regular season tonight with a trip to Mobridge to face the Class A Mobridge-Pollock Tigers.
The Chargers are looking to finish the regular season with its fourth win of the season and try and climb the 6B standings as the Chargers will be on the road regardless of the outcome. At 3-22, Sully Buttes sits in 10th place in the standings. Meanwhile, Mobridge-Pollock won’t be moving with a win, but want to make sure they finish the season on the right foot. At 16-15, the Tigers will be the three seed in the Region 6A standings and will take on Cheyenne-Eagle Butte in the first round of the playoffs. With nothing changing, the Chargers will make the trip to Gettysburg on Monday for a play in match. Sully Buttes has lost four straight coming into tonight.
Coverage this evening begins around 6:40 with first serve scheduled for 7:00 in Mobridge. Wyatt Burichka will have the call on Country 95.3 and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports.
