The Stanley County Lady Buffalo volleyball team is wrapping up the regular season tonight and finishing the last three games on the road being in Murdo to take on the Jones County Coyotes.
The Lady Buffs are coming in at 8-17 on the season and are still in fifth place in the 6A standings, but with some help, the Lady Buffs could move up to the four seed with a win and host Chamberlain instead of traveling to face the Cubs. A win and a Chamberlain loss to Lyman tonight and nothing else changing seed point wise, would push the Lady Buffaloes into fourth. Jones County comes in at 19-7 on the year and in third place in Region 7B and coming off a sweep of the Gettysburg Battlers on Friday. Aubrey Tucker leads the team in kills with 170 while Sunny Valberg has over 100 kills as well. BreAna Aske and Maggie Dowling each have over 100 assists for the Coyotes.
First serve tonight is scheduled for around 7:45 at the Harold Thune Auditorium in Murdo.
