The Pierre Governor volleyball team will be on the road again tonight as the Govs will travel out east to face the Lennox Orioles, the Class A opponent on the schedule for the season.
The Governors did beat the Orioles last season, also on the road, and will be looking for a second straight victory in Lennox. However, the Orioles are coming in at 13-4 on the season while the Governors are 1-9 after the three set loss to the Mitchell Kernels. Lennox has a win over Tea in three sets in their only AA matchup, but are 2-2 in the last four after the loss to Dell Rapids last week. Libby Kranz leads the way for the Oriole hitters as the junior has over 100 kills on the season.
First serve tonight in Lennox is scheduled for 6:30. The Governors return home to face Brandon Valley on Saturday.
