The Stanley County Buffaloes will be on the hunt for its second win of the season on Friday as the Buffaloes travel down to Gregory to face the 1-4 Gorillas for Gregory’s Homecoming.
The Buffaloes are ready to turn the page into a new month, the final month of the regular season with three games remaining in the regular season. Just like Gregory, the Buffaloes come into tonight at 1-4. Stanley County struggled against its three opponents in the month of September having just one touchdown and going 0-3 with the bye week falling in the month. Max Foth, head coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes says it’s important to get out and score early in the game tonight…
The Gorillas have lost back-to-back games to Hanson and Platte-Geddes. The two teams have a common opponent in Bon Homme where the Buffs lost 48-0 on opening night and Gregory was beat 55-6 the next week. Gregory has lost to Platte-Geddes and Kimball/White Lake, the final two opponents for the Buffaloes. Foth says this is a young opponent, but a good matchup between the two teams…
Foth says they need to establish the line of scrimmage tonight…
Kickoff from Gorilla Stadium in Gregory is at 7:00.
