With the Major League Baseball playoffs underway, KCCR is your home for the MLB, but coming up next July, KCCR will be your exclusive home for the 2027 Senior Legion State Tournament in Pierre.
KCCR and Pierre Post 8 would enter a partnership this week for Riverfront Broadcasting to be the home for the upcoming state tournament with all games to be played at Hyde Stadium. This will be the third time in the last five years a Riverfront Broadcasting station has been the home for the state tournament with Yankton’s KYNT serving back-to-back years in 2022 and 2023 in Yankton and Brookings.
Pierre’s Riverfront Broadcasting is not a stranger to broadcasting an entire state tournament as Capital City Rock has been the home for the South Dakota Hockey State Tournaments for both the boys and girls for the last nine years with the last six being both radio and video.
KCCR is your home for Pierre baseball for both high school and legion all year long. Dates are not fully set, but will be towards the end of July, all played at Hyde Stadium in Pierre. Games will be on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports to watch for free.
