PIERRE, (KCCR) — The candidates running for South Dakota governor took part in a televised debate on South Dakota Public Broadcasting in partnership with non-profit news entity South Dakota News Watch. In the one-hour debate Rhoden and Ahlers debated economic development, data centers, agriculture, child and elder care, Tribal relations, recidivism and transparency among other topics. S-D-P-B is hosting a similar debate on Thursday with the U-S House candidates, also at eight pm Central Time; seven Mountain Time.
