FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — A resident survey on tourism has been opened by Fort Pierre Tourism as they begin collaboration with South Dakota Tourism and George Washington University. Cassidy Blade with Fort Pierre Tourism says this survey is one of three they will be looking for input on from the community…
Surveys for some, can be a turn-off, but Blade says it will be monumentally important that residents engage with the surveys to make Destination Development work…
Community participation could open the door for funding tourism-centered projects…
The survey is available on the Fort Pierre Tourism website and Facebook page. Paper surveys are available at Drifters, the Fort Pierre city offices at the Stanley County Courthouse and the Log Cabin Visitor’s Center. A link is also available HERE. The survey is open through October 20th.
