The Sully Buttes Chargers and Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders would go back and forth all night, but it would be Sully Buttes grabbing a five set win Thursday in Onida.
The two teams traded sets in the first four as the Chargers would take the five set win, 17-25, 25-21, 15-25, 25-15 and 18-16. After how the first four sets would be played, it was no coincidence the fifth set would see extra points, but it would be the Chargers that would hold on and win the match, the first of the season for Sully Buttes. The win moves the Chargers to a 1-14 record while Sunshine Bible Academy falls to 5-7.
Sully Buttes will travel to Gettysburg on Tuesday which will be Country 95.3’s next broadcast. First serve will be around 7:30 with Wyatt Burichka on the call.
