Johnson spoke briefly at the ceremony. Commander Audrey Munji is relieving Commander Justin Guernsey who is being promoted withing the Navy. Munji’s former Executive Officer position is open. The final leg of the Pierre’s Triad, or leadership group is, Command Master Chief Eric Durk. Munji has been on at least two of the three namesake visits, U-S-S Pierre sailors have made to South Dakota’s capital city.
