PIERRE, (KCCR) — Pierre is one of 12 cities in South Dakota to show a new movie filmed in South Dakota. Thread Bound is an independent feature film shot on location in and around Aberdeen. The movie is an emotional, family drama center on miracles, grief, forgiveness and hope. The film follows a skeptical teenage girl named Ellie, who is searching for something to believe in and a mysterious boy named Sam, who has an extraordinary ability to heal. Six, grand cash prizes are being planned for the movie’s run. The movie stars Hailey Ibberson, Brady Copeland and Julianna Zinkel and is rated P-G. The Angel Guild evaluated the movie, giving it an 89 Guild Score and a four-point-three out of five average rating with 88-percent positive reviews. The movie will premiere in Aberdeen September 17th, but will be showing in Pierre September 18th at the State 123 Theater in Pierre.
