The Pierre Governor cross country team will be on the road to Aberdeen today running in its weekly contest at the Sahli/Salmi Invitational.
The Governors were a part of the Augustana Twilight meet last Friday. This morning it’s the third run of the season for the Govs. Pierre will be one of nine teams competing in Aberdeen and one of four AA teams. The Governors will be joined by Huorn, Watertown and host Aberdeen Central with Aberdeen Roncalli and Sisseton coming from Class A, Gettysburg and Warner from Class B and Jamestown, North Dakota. After today, the Governors will be off until next week Saturday.
The runs begin at 10:00 AM this morning at Lee Park Golf Course in Aberdeen.
