The Sully Buttes Chargers volleyball team would remain winless Tuesday night with a three set loss to the Ipswich Tigers with scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-15.
The loss drops the Chargers to 0-6 on the season and still with just one set win for the year while Ipswich improves to 2-5. The Chargers tried to battle, but could not keep up with the Tigers in all three sets with a double digit win in each set. It does, however, bring the Chargers back home for the first time since the first game of the season. It’s been two weeks since the Chargers played against Jones County to open the season at home, but Sully Buttes will be at home on Thursday to take on the Winner Warriors, although a tough matchup. Outside of the Philip tournament on Saturday, Sully Buttes will be at home for six of the next seven regular season contests.
Thursday’s game at home against Winner will be on Country 95.3 and on YouTube at Country 95.3 Sports with Wyatt Burichka on the call.
