The Pierre Governor volleyball team will be at home once again tonight in its lone game of the week as the Govs take on the Tea Area Titans as both teams are searching for its first win.
The Govs lost both games Friday and Saturday to Stevens and Rapid City Central with a 3-0 loss to Stevens and 3-1 loss to Central. Hannah Eads led the match with 13 kills last Saturday as she’s the first and only Gov to record double digit kills in the first two matches. Pierre will look to add on to it tonight against the Titans. Tea is coming in at 0-2 as well after a 3-1 loss to Class A West Central on Tuesday. The Titans only other match was against top ranked Harrisburg in a three set match. Last year, the Titans would sweep the Govs in Tea, but the Govs did win at home in 2024.
Coverage tonight begins around 6:00 with first serve scheduled for 6:30 at Riggs High School on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
