Friday evening, the Pierre Governor cross country team will be in Sioux Falls to run in the Augustana Twilight meet in the biggest invite of the season.
Nearly every AA team will be in attendance for the run Friday night as teams from Class A and B along with teams from neighboring states of Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and Minnesota will also be there. There will be around 100 teams in total at the event which doesn’t even include the 33 collegiate teams running. The Governors had two third place finishers for both the girls and boys at the Pierre invite last week Friday as Daniel Mason led the boys and Harper Shaffer led the girls. The competition ramps up Friday evening.
The night begins at 6:00 Friday at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, hosted by Augustana University.
