PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will consider approval of a four-item consent calendar consisting of minutes and claims, an appointment to the Arbor Board and a raffle request filed by the Church of Hope. In new business, Commissioners will consider a Transportation Alternatives Program grant agreement for the Causeway Trail project with Brosz Engineering. The Commission will also consider two items connected to the Landfill Cell Four project at the Pierre Regional Landfill. The two items deferred last week are a contract amendment with H-D-R Engineering and to close out the completed project. More outside agencies will bring funding requests to the Commission. This week, Commissioners will hear from the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area, PAWS Animal Rescue and Pierre Area Referral Service. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they many have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
