The Pierre Governor golf season is getting underway today and will run through Tuesday as Pierre will play in Brandon and in Sioux Falls to start the 2026 season.
The Governors will get a chance to see how they stack up with a lot of the state over the two days including potentially seeing different guys competing between Monday and Tuesday for Pierre. The Govs open the season playing at the Brandon Golf Course this afternoon before then heading to Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls on Tuesday to wrap up the two day event. After qualifying took place last week and all the golfers looking to get a shot to be on the varsity squad, it’s important to come out strong in the first two meets. Tee time is at 2:00 today at the Brandon Golf Course with an 8:00 AM tee time at Willow Run Golf Course on Tuesday.
