The Pierre USBC bowling season is right around the corner, and preseason gatherings have been set for Tuesday, August 11, at the Lariat Lanes. The evening’s festivities begin at 5:30 with the Youth Awards and Registration. Youth bowlers will receive awards earned from last season’s league and State Tournament, followed by the opportunity to pre-register for the upcoming youth bowling season. Registration fees will once again be $12 per bowler, and the youth league season will begin on Saturday, Sept. 12. Then at 7:30, the annual Association Meeting will take place. Bowlers of all ages are invited to attend and participate – to hear old and new business and discuss details of the upcoming season.
