PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission has approved seeking bids for a lot in the Airport Industrial Park. Airport Manager Casey Pamperien says the lot was previously leased to a business nearly 30 years ago…
A 400 square-foot building and 52-hundred square-foot concrete pad remain on the lot. Pamperien says the land around the airport is a good way to increase revenue from the airport…
Commissioner Jamie Huizenga says there could be plenty of benefits for getting the lot in use again…
Sealed bids can be submitted for the lease. Bid documents will be available on Thursday. The current annual rent for the lot is three-thousand 465 dollars. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Pierre Municipal building until four-pm on August 13th. Bids will be opened in public, immediately following the deadline.
