South Dakota Secretary Of State’s Office Moving Two Divisions To State Capitol Building

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The South Dakota Secretary of State’s Office is moving two divisions from remote locations to the South Dakota State Capitol in Pierre. The Division of Business Services and Division of General Services are being moved to the Capitol. The main Administrative offices and Election Division are on the second floor of the Capitol while the Business and General Services Divisions will be housed on the First Floor in Suites 112 and 124. The Business Services Division helps customers with business filings, Uniform Commercial Code filing, trademarks, notary public other business items. The General Division deals with things like pistol permits, raffle requests and general information.
