PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A lighter agenda will greet Commissioners tonight. First up is a five-item Consent Calendar. The Calendar includes minutes approval and claims, a raffle request filed by the Stanley County Booster Club and two new hires in the Police Department. Five items of new business are on the agenda for consideration. Commissioners will consider approval of an Airport Industrial Lease and maintenance proposals for Water Department booster stations. The Commission will also consider approval of a resolution to dissolve Tax Increment Financing District number Six for the Clubhouse, a review of South Dakota’s open meetings laws and second and final reading of the 2026 budget supplement for 2025 budget carry overs. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the public.
