The Four Corners baseball team would play at Kelley Field in Pierre on Tuesday and get a high scoring win over Colome winning 18-13 improving the record to 7-4 on the season.
4C is down to just a few games left in the regular season, but the win helps in the standings as they would bust out 17 hits for 18 runs using seven walks and three hit by pitches to get the win. After trailing 10-5 through six innings, Four Corners slammed in 10 runs in the seventh to help get the win and then another three runs in the eighth giving the breathing room to finishing over the Chaos. Noah Hainey had a two RBI double, Jack Van Camp would have a bases clearing double to give 4C the lead and Hainey finished off the inning with three RBIs driving in another two with a base hit in the 10 run seventh. Matt Lusk, River Iverson and Nathan Hainey each had two RBIs while Sam Hand, Austin Hand and Jeremy Hand each had an RBI in the inning. Van Camp, Noah Haney, Iverson and Sam Hand each had a double with Sam Hand getting a triple finishing a home run shy of the cycle as he went 4-5 in the game. Lusk went 3-6 and Noah Hainey also had three hits. Johnathon Neuharth would get the win on the mound going two innings of relief allowing just two runs on four hits with two strike outs and two walks. Lusk would finish off the game going the final two innings allowing three runs on six hits with four strikeouts.
Four Corners will be at home on Sunday to face Kimball/White Lake with just three games remaining in the season. First pitch is at 4:00.
