Pierre Post 8 will wrap up the regular season as the Eights will be in Minneapolis playing in the Gopher Classic with four guaranteed games between Friday and Saturday.
The Eights will be in the Maple Grove pool and will finish out day one with the final two games before playing games two and three of the day on Saturday for the four game guarantee. If the Eights win the pool, they’ll play early Sunday morning in the Round of 16 and will have to win the game to move to the quarterfinals that afternoon and then the semifinals and championship to be played on Monday. Pierre will open up facing a strong Rock Island Post 200 team out of Illinois in the first game before taking on the host team Maple Grove to close out the day. Then on Saturday, Pierre will face East Grand Forks, Minnesota Post 157 at 11:30 before wrapping up its pool play games against Excelsior Minnesota.
